Aday.org

Initiated by the Swedish Expression of Humankind Foundation, Aday.org is a project that aimed at collecting photographs from all over the world, shot on a single day, on May 15th 2012, with the ambition to gather footage from the walks of life of everyone of us.

Thanks to its networks and knowledge of photography, Collateral Creations helped make this project a success in Africa.

What has this project achieved ?

  • Over 100 000 photos have been collected across the world, and thousands of them can be seen on the website Aday.org.
  • Several intinerary exhibition are being organised, first in Sweden, then in various parts of the world.
  • Finally, a dedicated book showing a selection of the best or most representative photographs has just been edited.

Collateral Creations facilitated the promotion of this project on the African continent by setting relays in local press outlets. We have encouraged renowned photographers residing in Africa to join the project, and set up a dedicated blog to gather and share their testimonies.
