Collateral Creations took part in setting up a global photographic archive as part of the Aday.org project, by ensuring the success of this project on the African continent.
In 2012, Collateral Creations took part in Aday.org, a vast project whose aim was to create the largest photography archive ever produced on the daily lives of people throughout the world.
Our role was to ensure the success of the project on the African continent by using our networks.
Numerous partnerships with African medias or specialized on Africa medias have been set up, in order to ensure a large broadcast of the projet among African photographers, profesionnals or amators.
What is Aday.org?
On the 15th May 2012, both amator and professional photographers from all over the world recorded their daily lives in photography.
The 100,000 images from 165 countries were put online on the Aday.org website.
The collected photos have been classified for several weeks. Hundreds are already online on the Aday.org website.
The second version of the Aday’s website will make all the photos accessible. It will be a global photography archive that will be used for scientific and educational purposes.
